Little Kings and Queens Charter Academy is open for pre-school 3 and 4 year olds. In 2025 the school will expand to include kindergarten and first grade students. We are an accredited by the Star-Quality Child Program for family and group childcare homes. To be a nationally accredited program means that our childcare has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing high quality programs for young children and their families. Preschool years are a time of significant growth for children, with development in many areas, including social, cognitive, language, physical, and adaptive. We provide an environment where your child can learn through play, make friends, and develop responsibility, independence, and confidence.m
We provide young children with a safe place to explore, create, and learn in small groups. Our curriculum caters to the total child's needs. We aim to foster independent learning and make learning enjoyable!
Our mantra helps us set the tone for the day and are often repeated to motive our children to be their best self.
Show respect to yourself, your peers, and your teachers, just as a knight would honor their king or queen.
Keep our academy safe and clean, ensuring that everyone feels secure and valued.
Use kind and thoughtful words, as royals speak with wisdom and kindness.
Be brave in your learning, try new things, and support your fellow scholars, just like a noble leader would.cl
Our staff is dedicated to fostering a learning environment filled with enjoyable and memorable activities. Our students engage in a variety of classes, including music, gym, art, and Spanish. Your child will attend gym class every day, with yoga offered once a week. Spanish lessons take place three days a week, supported by a bilingual teacher who reinforces your child's understanding. To facilitate a smooth transition to public or private schools, we require all children to wear uniforms. Additionally, every teacher on our team holds a CDA degree and has completed first aid and CPR training.
